Girl’s Dresses for Malawi
At the February meeting, Mary Browning extended an invitation to the guild to participate in the second annual sew'in day for making dresses for girls in Malawi. A project sponsored by the Liberty Corner and Basking Ridge Presbyterian churches. This year's sew'in will take place on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 9:30am to 2:30pm in the Westminster Hall of the Basking Ridge Presbyterian Church.
Several of the guild members came last year and had such a good time they wanted to be included this year. Guild members who are unable to attend but would like to contribute can make the dresses at home.
